Fantastic tour and absolute must do
Fantastic. The tour is highly recommended. My wife and I throughly enjoyed our VIP tour with David. An absolutely fantastic day spent with him and Ian our driver. David’s knowledge of the band was phenomenal. I am a Beatles fan and to visit places of significance in the lives of the group gave such a greater insight into their upbringing, influences and eventually how this reflected in some of their songs. This certainly came together when we went to the Penny Lane junction. Seeing these places rather than reading about them in books was special. In addition we learnt, as first time visitors, so much about Liverpool history.

Your Beatles tour will take you to Mathew Street and The Cavern, John’s Art College and the Liverpool Institute (LIPA), Ringo’s birthplace and second home in the Dingle, The Empress pub, Penny Lane, George Harrison’s birthplace, Brian Epstein’s family home, John’s Aunt Mimi’s house where he grew up, Paul’s house where he lived from age 13 (and on our all day tours, you can go inside John and Paul’s homes with the National Trust – when open), St. Peter’s Church where John and Paul met, and Strawberry Field. Learn how John Lennon created his skiffle group, The Quarrymen, and listen to the stories from Colin Hanton who played with The Quarrymen from 1956 to 1959, playing with John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison, whist also playing on the first original song recorded by Lennon and McCartney: “In Spite of All The Danger”, recorded in July 1958.
