Greg Hewson: FAB tour - one happy Aussie !

I did the full day tour late September 2009 (sorry it took me a while to post this Ian). Whole day was very relaxed - saw everything I expected to see plus more. Really enjoyed Paul and Johns homes and the Casbah visit was simply priceless. I find myself constantly telling people "hey - I've been there" whenever we see one of the many Liverpool sights on TV or in a book or whatever. Although it's a long way from Sydney, I am already planning a return visit and will have one or two others with me next time. I am making a mental list of other 'Beatle' places I'd like to see as well. Goodonya Ian - it was a FAB day !

Gerry and Julie:Edinburgh: Memories for a lifetime

Took a Beatles Tour on December 6th 2009.

A quiet time of the year so there was only us on the mini bus; in essence then, a private tour.

Fantastic, insightful, enjoyable and history come to life. Simply unbeatable.

John and Lizann: The best Beatle tour!

We've just had the 4 hour tour with Ian and it was more than I could have imagined. The real joy of Ian's tours is that it's very personal and relaxed - it was just me and my wife (who organised the trip as a Christmas present) and Ian. No crowds, no problems of having to go where everyone else went. Ian gave us all the time we needed wherever we went - Penny Lane, Strawberry Field, St. Peter's Church, the individual Beatles' houses etc. The highlight for me was the trip to see the Casbah Club where it all began. Our personal tour guide was Rory Best, Pete Best's brother, and he had so many stories about the Beatles because, of course, he was there at the time and he knew them. Ian's tour company is to be commended for having such an important Beatles landmark as part of the tour and, again, at the Casbah it was just me, my wife and Rory Best. I could never have dreamed that I would have an opportunity to hear the stories from someone so intimately involved with Beatles right at the beginning of their careers. The club is a treasure trove for anyone who wants to know how it started. I would recommend this tour to any Beatles' fan.

Diego

I took the 4 hour tour last year and I must say it was wonderful. I was picked up at my hotel by Ian, who took us to all places I had always dreamt of visiting. It was a private ride where we could ask him all our questions, hop off the car and hop in back as many times as we wanted. They arranged for us the visits to the Casbah, Mendips and Forthlin Road, and he even bought us a couple of sandwiches. We also could visit Ringo's house and meet its wonderful house keeper. Me and my girlfriend with Ian in this private car and going to all those places was a dream that came true. I wish I could return soon.

I organises a tour to Liverpool for my Godparents and cousin from Hungary as it was my godfather`s wish to see the birth town of Beatles. I booked a 4 hour tour with Ian and it was the best think I coudl have done to see everything in Liverpool that is Beatles related.. He was brilliant, knowledgable and most of all very kind. He even took us to Anfiled Road. He showed us more that we every dreamt of. The smile of my godfather`s face was priceless. His dreams came trough thanks to Ian.

We had an awesome time on the all day Beatles tour! Ian was a lot of fun, and was a great tour guide. He even gave us a new word for our vocabulary-haha! It was well worth the money, and an experience we will always remember! Thanks so much! -Robbi and Amy

John Newman

The all day tour was by far the highlight of our recent cruise. It was amazing to hear the people from the cruise ship talking about *driving by* Paul's house or Ringo's house or John's house...they were so envious when we told them that we got to go inside! Absolutely the best tour!!! Tons of trivia and information to keep us interested the entire day. The tour was definitely worth every penny! Thanks so much, Ian! John & Janet Newman

Alison, Jeff, Melissa and...

What a great day! We did the all day tour, and Ian was great. He gave us all these little tidbits of information about the Beatles. Saw their homes, and it was a real treat to walk in John's and Paul's home. Really felt them there. My daughter who is a hugh fan, and this part of our trip to England was for her (but I enjoyed it a whole lot too) was on cloud nine. We even got in to see the hall where John and Paul actually first met, and talked to a gentleman there who was there at that same time!!! How COOL!2_smile.gif Highly recommend this tour....thanks ever so much Ian and Cheryl for all your help making our time in Liverpool an enjoyable one
